Sales Engineer

  • Responsible for bringing new sales and providing customer support to existing clients
  • Maintaining existing, relationships with customers and managing client accounts
  • Identifying potential customers and following up to assist with technical queries
  • Connecting with new customers, persuading that our services will best satisfy their needs by making technical presentations and demonstrating how we can add value to their organizations.
  • Analyzing costs and calculating client quotations, negotiating tender and contract terms
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Project management related to sales orders
  • Offering after-sales support services
  • Support marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
  • Helping in the design of custom-made products
  • Providing training and producing support material for the sales team
  • Recording and maintaining client contact data
  • Preparing reports for head office
  • Meeting regular sales targets
  • Bachelor in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or relevant technical qualification)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience (preferably in UAE) in Sales related to rotating equipment servicing and/or mechanical equipment
  • Sales experience related to rotating electrical equipment servicing
  • Exposure to service of electrical motors, generators
  • Understanding oil and gas industry
  • Understanding power generation
  • Understanding electrical testing methods
  • Knowledge of tender preparation, technical proposal and knowledge of electrical and rotating equipment servicing
  • Good command of English (reading and writing)
  • Professional & Presentable
  • Holding UAE Driving License
