Intersel Dowding and Mills was established as Intersel Engineering Services in 1986 by Ms. Guity Shokri to cater the demands for electromechanical services in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
In 2003, Intersel was relocated to Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai to a 15,000 sq. m facility. It quickly became one of the leading specialists in the Gulf Region for the Supply, Overhaul, Refurbishment, Rewinding and Testing of all types of Electrical AC and DC, HV/LV including Traction and MLT Motors, VFD Motors, Generators and Elmagco Baylor Eddy Current Brakes.
Our 15,000 sq. m is a well-equipped facility, consists of three adjacent state-of-the-art workshops which carry 150 competent staff.
Site work has also developed with the rewinding of a 93,750 KVA Ansaldo generator being one of the major repairs undertaken. Our site engineers have worked in KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Egypt, and Vietnam as well as all Emirates in the UAE.
